Great article, but if you live in one of the states where medical marijuana is legal, you know that we are constantly under attack. In Colorado, towns have the ability to ban legal cannabis businesses. As more and more take this step, patients are the ones who suffer!
ReplyDeleteIn Harmony Wellness,
ReplyDeleteYour absolutely right. We need to fight to make sure the New Laws are in place on time and that the law will be given the same respect as any law, Business Law or not.
The same people who disagree or says marijuana is wrong. Are the ones who ignor the dangers of tabacco, and alchol. And even some of the side effects of prescription drug that are FDA approved. And alot of time, police man power and states resource are wasted.
ReplyDeleteEVERY DAY, 290 people are killed by FDA-approved prescription drugs, and that's the conservative number published by the Journal of the American Medical Association in 2000.
DeleteThat study, which is twelve years old -- and drug deaths have risen considerably since then -- documents 106,000 deaths per year from the "adverse effects" of FDA-approved prescription medications.
As no one seems to believe these numbers are real, I'll quote the source: The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) Vol 284, No 4, July 26th 2000, authored by Dr Barbara Starfield, MD, MPH, of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.
